Conference: Alternative Routes: Spreading of Liturgical Chant in Post-Carolingian Europe (ca. 900–1100)
The two-day conference Alternative Routes: Spreading of Liturgical Chant in Post-Carolingian Europe (ca. 900–1100) will take place on January 12–13, 2026 in Cremona at the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage. This event marks the midpoint of the ERC-funded project SCRIBEMUS and focuses on the dissemination of liturgical chant, transregional cultural exchange, and scribal mobility in early medieval Europe.
